Krithika turns ONE
Krithika Turns One !!
Well! Krithika turned ONE on 18th September 2005. We had a organized a party at PAI PRINCESS on the 19th and we had invited almost a 100 of relatives and friends over for the party. The invitees were OUR parents, aunts, uncles and a few neighbours’ from where we live along with a few of my colleagues.
She was wearing the lavender skirt gifted by SHAMA aunt from Ernakulum neighbourhood.
The party was a blast :-) .As usual like all other FIRST Birthdays’ KRITHIKA cried while cutting the cake. (It was no pleasant moment for her to realize that she was one year old)
Of the gifts KRITHIKA received were a few packs of MONEY, a baby doll, a bear singing " HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU", a quacking duck, giant LEGO set, a couple of dresses. Both her grandparents gifted her GOLD chain and ear studs respectively. We gifted her TRICYCLE which she has not yet shown her inclination to! We had a black forest cake saying "Happy Birthday KRITHIKA!" designed like a MICKEY MOUSE. And for eats had NORTH INDIAN dinner and a welcome drink.
I took a few snaps and a few minutes of video of the cake cutting. As such it has not come very well for it was shot in the night light.
The party ended almost at 10.30 until which she was excited about the atmosphere.

My daugher Krithika
This started as an account of all the amazing conversations, learnings of my one year old daughter, Krithika. She turned one in September 2005.
This is one of the kind of gift that I would have possessed till my last breath, but unfortunately, I do not have any such summarisation from my elders. I do not want my daughter to miss the same.
I will capture her thoughts, our discussions, her interpretations on different subjects of interest. Somewhere I think there is a lesson in this for me. And for all those who tumble upon this blog, I hope your visit is a pleasant one:)
I the days to come, I would also capture voice recordings of our discussion to make these moments to live forever.
