  On choosing her own toy
Today Kitty had gone out with Gowri for our usual and Gowri happened to stumble upon a FISH seat. Her amma without any reluctance bought that for her saying that it was the first toy that Gowri had chosen for herself.

Gowri has started making her choices.

  From RASHM ................I to GOWR......I
Our neighbour's kid RASHMI was playing with Gowri today and Shobha aunty was playing with them. One of the favourite pastime for RASHMI is spelling her name.. If aunt spells R...A...S... H...M.... then Rashmi pronounces Iiiiiiiiiiiii...

Copying from her learning... even Gowri started repeating Iiiiii whenever aunt spelled RASHM.....

We have continued it with GOWR.....I, KALYAN.......I, MALATH......I

  On meeting new people
Gowri appears to be an extrovert. Toady in here evening walk, she saw a girl standing across the fountain in the park in our neighbourhood in Bangalore, got down from her mom's grip, walked towards her and shook her hand vigorously. The other kid's grandfather was surprised to see all the developments... so did we.

  On scolding the doctor.... humourously...

Gowri was having a bit of high temperature and she was not comfortable with it... so did we. We took her to Dr. Sanjay and as he was examining her, she kept on murmuring something...Dr humourously asked Gowri

"Enamma... neenu innu eshtu baiyodannu kalitiddiya????”

Laughter bursted in both our faces.

  On her possessiveness
Today we had been to our favourite hangout BIG BAZAAR, henceforth B-CUBE (BANASHANKARI BIG BAZAAR) and it was my turn to carry Gowri through the aisle in the mall. It happened so that Kitty was searching for some dress and I was strolling around nearby. Kitty was wearing a brick orange chudidar top, and we (me and Gowri) happened to come across a lady wearing a similar coloured dress.

Gowri, without hesitation pulled the hands of that lady and suddenly she had a surprise look as that lady did not happen to be her MOM! I excused myself showing her mom with the same coloured dress. But Gowri to my surprise did not stop pulling her hands....

By then Gowri... had learnt to be possessive... unbelievable.
