Gowri's Observation
Last week she had inserted a disk into the CD player in a wrong way and as it a result it was malfunctioning when we came home. Mimmi reported it to us and I took up the job of setting it right.
Gowri with all enthusiasm kept on watching as to what I was doing all the while. She was quite happy to see the player working at the end of the session. She ended it with a clap.
Krithika in January 2006
The New year had a lot of positive developments in terms of health and knowledge..
Gowri as we call her rolled up a lot of new words into her vocabulory. Many of her single word sentences became longer either to two or three words. Some of them to name are here..
Baa Baa Chitte
Peta Peta ( the beginning words of Peter Peter pumpkin eater...)
She has also picked up some answers to many of our questions.
She can answer with a wrooooom....swing her hands to indicate , how an aeroplane flies.
Can point out to CHANDAKKI MAMA, twinke stars..etc.
During the month we also enrolled her to LITTLE GENIUS- a playschool behind our house. She will be a part of around 20 toddlers' team since June 2006. ( I'm astonished that the current generation kids start their hectic education at such an young age.
Also we celebrated SHANKRANTI on Jan 14th at Nanjangud. Gowri wore a PATTU LANGA to distribute ELLU BELLA. IT was an exciting experience for both of us.
Her possessive NAAANA has improved over to NAANU and she identifies milk as AALA.
Gowri got a lot of gifts this month and one such was a coulor matching window book, a jigsaw puzzle book, few miniature animals and a new building block toy. She is thoroughly enjoying every moment of her growth by playing around with the toys. Padma Aunt also brought her a TOY TRAIN which she has picked up quite fast.
